This module gives important information on the modelling industry that every aspiring model should know and understand. We will cover topics like:
- What is modelling?
- Why there are restrictions in the industry; height, measurements, etc.
- Brief history of the modelling industry
- Breakdown of the different types of modelling; fashion, commercial, petite, etc.
- Understanding industry standards

This module will go into detail on one of the most important assets as an aspiring model; your polaroids. We will cover topics like:
What are polaroids?
Why are polaroids important?
General Do’s & Don’ts (gender specific)
Video tutorial on how to take great polaroids at home
Example of bad polaroids and common mistakes
Checklist and workflow for taking and selecting the best images
What to never do when submitting polaroids to agencies

The aim of the course is to guide as many aspiring models in the right direction to becoming signed agency models. Therefore, this module focuses on topics like:
Where & how scouts work
How to know if they’re legit
How to improve your chances of being scouted (in-person and online)
A screen recorded video of how a scout will search online for models and how to stand out
Finding representation from a reputable agency (specific to you and your area of modelling)
Where to find agencies and how to know if they’re legit
Scams to look out for and avoid
Submitting to agencies online; what’s is and isn’t important
Walk-ins & open castings
Handling rejection and no response from agencies

After taking the course and using the information in the Polaroid module to improve your polaroids. You’ll have chance to submit your new polaroids to the Honest Model Club team, who will then review each image and give specific personal feedback and suggestions.
